sonotadreamJust a little bit about the new comics I read the past week.
Action Comics #1085 - G. Willow Wilson/Gavin Guiory - Clark Kent goes to the Artic to meet a couple of scientists. Turns out their work is being sabotaged by some villain I don't know. There's a couple of cute Clark moments.
Aboslute Batman #7 - Scott Snyder/Marcos Martín - Introducing Mr Freeze. Bruce is ivestigating the new prison in Gotham - and trying to avoid his concerned friends, especially beause is blaming himself for the death of Matches Malone (really horrifically way to go, btw). There's a little mistery there about why Matches thinks he owes Bruce.
Anyway, Mr Freeze might not be symphathetic at all in this universe.
There's more hints about what the Joker is up to (world domination of some kind? Are he and Ras'al Ghul going to come into conflict?)
Uncanny X-Men #13 - Gail Simone/David Marquez - Not much happened. The Outliers are investigating a creepy graveyard under the swamp, that seems connected to a mysterious mutant woman in the past, and Gambit makes a dragon friend and fights a T-Rex in the Savage Land (in his undies :P). Nice to have Marquez in art again.
The Ultimates #11- Dennis Camp/Juan Frigeri - Another top tier issue, very relevant to current times. And in verse!
The Amazing Spider-Man #1 - Joe Kelly/Pepe Larraz - Fun issue. Peter's new job is definetely too good to be true and it kicks off a neat little mistery.
Laura Kinney: Wolverine #5 - Erica Schultz/Giade Belviso - Nice little team up between Laura and Bucky. He has good advice to offer. Although, the beat where she stops him from murdering the bad guy, only to do it herself seemed unnecessary. Could have easily go the other way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
